Shop Easier

MacGourmet lets you easily create shopping lists from one or many recipes, and print them out, or take them with you on your PDA by exporting them to HandyShopper and SplashShopper formats. You can also save your shopping lists as text files, or export them to your iPod.

When you create a new shopping list from multiple recipes, the ingredients are merged when possible, so that if two recipes call for butter, the amounts are combined, and you only have one entry in your shopping list. The shopping list editor also allows you to specify things like the stores and aisles for your shopping list items, to make shopping quicker and easier when you get to the market.
